There is a great way to level your engine when you are checking the oil. Go to a hardware store and buy one of the little circular levels with the bubble in the middle. Set it on a corner of the engine base mount so when the engine is level the bubble is centered on the bullseye. If you hold the engine in this position while you check oil, the engine ( and the oil in it) will be level and the dip stick reading will be accurate. If the engine isn't level the oil on the dipstick will indicate either too high or too low, depending on the tilt.
You may have to swivel and tilt the engine to center the bubble but I have faith you will be able to figure that out. Hey! You were smart enough to buy a Go-Devil so I already know you can walk and
chew gum at the same time. Unfortunately in my pictures it is a full bubble off, but that's just for demonstration---no really. If you want to get fancy epoxy a little ceramic magnet to the back of
the level and it will stay where you put it.
